雅映纯心 ——读潘映蓉的油画作品

当下,在物质日益丰富而精神逐渐沦丧的快节奏的社会里,好的艺术作品无疑可以承担起“心灵鸡汤”的慰藉作用。

艺术品的欣赏和收藏很好的满足了人们更高层次的精神需求。女性画家潘映蓉的油画作品就给人以极好的艺术享受,让人养眼润心。

读映蓉的油画,会让我想到巴尔丢斯和莫兰迪,也许映蓉或多或少受到过他们的影响。但映蓉毕竟是映蓉,她有自己观察世界的眼光和视角,也有着自己的艺术理念和表现手段。

映蓉的作品, 画面简洁而纯净、清新而雅致,没有油熟的习气。无论是静物还是风景,构成关系都比较讲究,甚至比较大胆。在色彩布局以及不同层次的对比里,他都会优雅地表现出一种艺术的静美,一份从容恬淡的心情,同时,我们可以明显的感受到女性纯静柔美的气韵。

映蓉多愁善感,却又生性乐观,对画面充满了感情,她只画她感兴趣的东西,尤其喜欢关注很多不起眼的细节。她的风景画里几乎没有动物和人物,她喜欢单纯的表达,唯从景物的新旧交替中体现人活动的痕迹以及时间的流转。她对画面里的房子、工棚甚至小花小草都有着独特的角度与理解。雅致的画反映纯静的心性,映蓉以她纯粹的童眼,解读着现实的物质形态。

映蓉作画不喜欢太多修饰,她总是把许多东西省略了,尽量让画面干净、单纯。她只相信自己的肉眼所观察到的,然后自己去想象。在技术上,或许画面略显生涩,然而,相对于太多画油子的毫无价值的炫技作品,这恰恰成了她最宝贵的品质。很多人,画了一辈子,也不明白自己在画什么。他们往往忽略了精神性的心灵感受,迷醉于习性与意识被同化的状态中。而映蓉以她独立的感觉、意志、思考与判断,超越了表面流俗的写生表现和绘画技术的局限,作用于内心的体验和需要,幸运的把握了艺术的本质特性,用朴素的审美努力画出了自己喜欢的味道与意境。

作为一位有才情的女性画家,色彩关系和构图形式的完整,在映蓉的画作中已不是问题了,我感兴趣的是,他的作品不仅仅是通常所体现的摹物写实功能,或某种情绪与观念宣泄的张扬,而是通过纯粹的视觉艺术的体验,真正地向我们展示了“画为心境”的东方审美意趣和品格。

当一种艺术的表达方式,成为一个人可能的生活方式,这样的人大概是幸运的,也可能是寂寥的。因为只有完全沉浸在艺术的自由世界里的人,才有可能获得这样的幸运和寂寥。而画家潘映蓉恰恰就属于这样为数不多的人。

Nowadays, with fast pace of the society, the spirit gradually decayed within the increasingly rich material. The fine art works can certainly play the role of "Chicken Soup for the Soul", and provide us with some comfort.


Art appreciation and collection satisfy people’s high level of spiritual needs. And Yingrong Pan, a female painter, is the one whose paintings provide us with great artistic enjoyment.


Yingrong's paintings make me thinking of Balthus and Morandi. Maybe she was influenced by them more or less. But she is she. After all, she has her own perspective of vision to see the world, and she also has her own art concept and technique of expression.


Her paintings are simple, pure and elegant. No matter it is still life or landscape, you can fine the composition is exquisite, and sometimes even bolder. You can catch an air of tranquility and beauty, and a kind of leisurely mood from the color arrangment. At the same time, we can obviously feel the pure and mellow feminine temperament in her paintings.


Yingrong is sentimental, but also naturally optimistic on the other hand,because she is full of passion for painting. She only paints what she interested in, especially something small and plain. There are few animals and characters appear in her landscape, because she likes pure expression and embody people’s activities and time by scenery’s change. So she has unique perspective and understanding on houses, barracks and even flowers and grasses. Her fine paintings reflect her pure heart, because she use her pure eyes to read this physical world.


She doesn't like use too much decoration in painting.She always omit many things to make the painting clean and pure. She only believes in what she saw and then imagines freely. Perhaps, you will find some immatureness technically. However, comparing to the hundreds ones who show off their paintings by skills but without deep meaning, Yingrong is rare and pure, and this is her most valuable character. A lot of painters don't understand what they are painting even in the whole life. They ignored the spiritual feeling, but indulge in the state of habits and consciousness assimilated. Not like them, Yingrong follows her independent feelings, will, thinking and judging, which beyond the limitation of manifestation and skills, and expresses how she feels and what she wants by understanding the true essence of the art.


As a talented woman painter, the color relations and composition are just perfect in her works. What interests me most is that, her paintings are not only embody the reality or some kind of abreaction of emotions and ideas, but also show us the the traditional aesthetic interest and character of “the painting is the mind” by pure experience of visual art.


The artist who absorbs the art expression into his own life-style is very lucky. And only the one who is completely immersed in the kingdom of art can gain such luck but also loneliness in another perspective. And as a free oil painter, Yingrong Pan, is just the few one.
